Any other frustrated Open Male racers out there? Lets see if we can convince the organizers from the Dieppe Masters Stage race to open the race to all cats. I emailed Luc and he said it was not their intention, but it could be discussed. I'm thinking, with a few more emails, they may explore the option further. Email luc@atlanticcyclingcenter.com

Is anyone interested in a ride tonight? (Thurs)

Not in this weather, which shows no sign of improvement until next week.

5:25-5:30 I'll swing by the Edge and see if there are any takers. Heading out to McGowan's corner/Noonan. If you've got fenders, bring'em.

Hey!! Somebody is actually using this thing. I'm gonna stay out of this weather too....at least until I get over this cold.

I really like the blog and plan to use it if ever I manage to plan a ride more than 5 min in advance. Until then, I've just got random musings and wiseass repartee.

Weather looks good beginning Tuesday.

Is anyone heading to the road race in Yarmouth June 3rd? I'd like to go if I had someone to split travelling expenses with. http://www.sealevelracing.net/2007raceposter.pdf

Race fee is $30, but travelling the 300 km and crossing the Digby ferry would be the big cost.

Apologies for the volley of cursing I let out when I fell in that hole this evening. I'm working on being less spazzy in a paceline, but clearly there's room for improvement.

Is anyone heading out from the shop Sunday morning?

PENNIAC MTB GROUP RIDE
Thurs 7 June at 6 pm

Meet where the multiuse trail (old railway line) crosses the Penniac rd. Directions: get to Marysville, go up river on river street (by big brick cotton mill), pass the metal Penniac bridge and continue 500m until the railway line crosses the road. Park at the end of the railway line not in the driveway. You can also bicycle there in about 20min from the fredericton walking bridge; just follow the trail through Marysville and on to where the trail crosses the penniac rd and turns to large rock, meet there.

We will ride for about 1.5 to 2+ hrs at a moderate pace, but won’t stop too much because of the mosquitoes.

Not sure if anyone still uses this blog, but just incase...

There is a Crit Saturday night at 6pm and a Road Race Sunday morning out in Wolfville, NS next weekend (July 28-29). I'm in Grand Manan Wed night-Sat morning this week and was thinking of making the trip down to do both races. As this is 3.5hr drive past Moncton and I would need a hotel room Sat night so I could do both races, I was wondering if there is anyone that wants to go for a trip. I'm flexible on the races. I may just go down for the RR on Sunday depending on if I'm travelling by myself. Also, while on the subject, I'm looking at the RR in PEI Aug 12th and the RR in Wentworth, NS Sept 30. Any OSBers or Edgers that want to carpool, let me know. adam.douthwright@rogers.com
